Angelica Panganiban (born Angelica Panganiban) is an Filipino American model, television host and comic. Panganiban, who is known as "the the new Queen of Drama" by several media outlets in the Philippines, is one of the most popular and well-known actresses. She was the youngest contestant to finish in second place. Angelica Hale fell ill at age four with Strep and pneumonia as a result of an infection brought on by bacteria. Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston was forced to place Angelica Hale onto ECMO Life-Support after she desperately needed life-saving medical intervention. The patient suffered from multiple organ failures, and her kidneys were not able to fully recover. Peritoneal dialysis, and then hemolysis changed her life to a new normal. After nearly 80 days in hospital, from death to recovery, she finally made it home but her life forever changed. After a year and a half of dialysis, Angelica was able to undergo the biggest surgery she had ever undergone- her kidney transplant. Her mother would be the donor. Angelica Hale, along with her mother went through an organ transplantation procedure on the premises of Emory University Hospital in Atlanta and the Children's Hospital of Atlanta Egleston on September 13, 2013. Angelica Hale pursued her dream of becoming a celebrity ever since.
