Ana Maria Cristina Polo Gonzalez was born in the city of Havana, Cuba. Her family relocated to Miami after she reached 2 years old. Ana was born in Havana Cuba with her mother and father at 2 years old, relocated to Miami and joined her parents. Ana Maria Polo, a born and raised in Habana Cuba is host of the well-known show on Telemundo called "Casowhich was the first Spanish show to be recognized with an Emmy nomination in the Daytime Entertainment category. The program was ranked in 2015 as the top television show in Spanish for the evening time slot at 4pm across all categories. Polo is a native of Cuba who was born on the 11th of April 1959. The actress attended Florida International University and graduated in political sciences. Then she earned an PhD in Law at the University of Miami, and was a lawyer for over 20 years within Miami. After earning her PhD from the University of Miami she practiced law in Miami for more than 20 years. Polo made her first appearance on TV in 2001 as part of Telemundo's Sala de Parejas.
